I'd like Tomori Zat but think he will go to Rennes.

I also agree with you that generally I'd never loan a player ( unless it is an elite player ) without an option to buy.

If theres any truth to the Kean rumours (hope not) id try for Demiral + Costa on loan...buyout clause for Demiral.

Think we may be disappointed regarding the RB, because we haven’t moved as many as expected we won’t get one until Jan or next summer

CB is becoming desperate now with only two senior centre backs, Tomori is going to Rennes, we should stop waiting for fat Frank to make his mind up and move onto other targets.

Also believe James will be used on the right with Walcott as back up for this season, would have like Under there but he is off to Leicester. Bailey is too expensive at 40 million.

Zaha would be nice but with Iwobi going the other way ( is he injured?)

Should have an exciting run in to the close of the window, would hope for3/4 coming in but think we will get a CB unless we move more!

Thoughts?

Douglas Costa was a wonderful player but not followed his career recently , haven't his performances fallen off the edge of a cliff ?

Is there a rule somewhere which prevents them from getting injured.
Liverpool have been incredibly lucky with injuries over the last four years.
Basically it is the same group of players and they are nearly all now in their late twenties after playing a huge number of games.
They may have another injury free season but they may not.

Or maybe they just sign physically fit players?

Or have an excellent fitness programme/good club fitness staff?

Or are potentially doping?

The first thing klopp did was get them super fit. Told anyone who didn't want to get fit that they were free to go.
Carlo employs 2 fitness coaches so they should improve the fitness.
Being successful makes players want to play even when they have niggling injuries. They worry about losing their place.
Let's hope as we play better and get better players in that some of our players who seems to pick up niggling injuries will suddenly feel OK.
Nothing you can do about bad injuries gomes, gbarmin tbh. Every team gets them.

Gomes had a poor injury record at Barca and goes off with niggles since his move here. Not saying he misses tons of games but I've seen him hobble off the field on a few occasions after going into a 50/50 etc which is part of a mdfielders job - compare that to Richarlison who gets lumps kicked out of him and barely goes off/misses a game.

Add in Coleman, Walcott, Mina, Gbamin its clear we have a squad full of crocks in comparison to others in the league - its nothing to do with luck.

Think Costa has had a few injuries since signing for Juventus...

Its really just thinking who we could ask Juventus to add into a deal if Kean went there.

Depending on how much they want him the 2 players who stood out were Costa and Demiral as they seem to be the positions people want filled.

If they were to taks Kean for a season (i doubt it) and we got Demiral and Costa then that deal favours us in the short term.

Costa is about 30 now and gets injured but a loan may be decent...Demiral looks like a beast.

All depends on if Juventus are desperate for Kean.

Id keep him.

Ancelotti has said were in the market for a centre back at least.
