Wow, he really did a number there.
Apart from Idrissa, none of those where what I would call Everton standard.

I think i feel a bit ill after reading that

Not even to mention the wages

Whether people do or dont is up to them, but I would really advise people to probably accept we wont have players in for pre season, or even for the start of the new season. You are going to have a lot of teams who dont even finish their season until the end of August. It's going to be difficult to make a lot of decisions before then, and we are not a big enough fish to jump to the head of that cue.

I've resigned myself to that. Its frustrating, but its where we are as a club. If we can get some in before that's a good bonus, but I expect us, like quite a few teams to go to the wire.

Can’t help but agree unfortunately, the type of players we will want we will be competing for and agents will be in no rush to place their players early in the window. Might also be the same with our outs, I can see Bolaise and the like way down people’s lists if a deal is in the offing.

People might not think deals like that are significant but if we shifted Bolaise, Sandro and Bernard the club would save 20million and anything we could get in fees.

Marcel was photographed working as hard as ever, despite being on holiday, today:

In hindsight, some signings were good risky young transfers, which can go either way. Can't have predicted how bad Sandro would tank, and Henry, DCL, Lookman and Vlasic were sound ideas, but just didn't work out in 3 cases. Idrissa Gueye very good, but this list just stinks because of
Williams, Schneiderlin, Bolasie, Cuco,Tosun, Walcott and the 5 X no.10's - there was just no strategy

Lucas Digne - £18m
Yerry Mina - £27m
Richarlison - £35m
Fabian Delph - £8m
Andre Gomes - £22m
Jean-Phillipe Gbamin - £22m
Moise Kean - £25m
Alex Iwobi - £27m
Bernard - Free
Lossl - Free

Total - £184m

What they are worth now is highly debatable
I’ll take a shot at what I think we could get in todays market. You forgot Branthwaite too.

Lucas Digne - £50m
Yerry Mina - £20m
Richarlison - £80m
Fabian Delph - £5m
Andre Gomes - £15m
Jean-Phillipe Gbamin - £10m
Moise Kean - £25m
Alex Iwobi - £10m
Bernard - £10m
Lossl - £3m
Branthwaite - £3m

Total - £231m...Inflated by Digne and Rich but not a bad overall return. Iwobi is the killer.

You think we would only get 3m for Branthwaite?????

Iwobi would go for way more than £10m. Bournemouth spent nearly £40m on Ibe and Solanke combined. We'd get at least £20-25m for Iwobi. But I don't think we will be seliing him one year in.

Don't think you're far off in your other valuations though. Branthwaite we won't sell and he's so young there is no point speculating.

Yeah idk. Just because Bournemouth were stupid with their money doesn’t mean everyone is. They’ve just gone down as a result. I don’t think we’d be paying more than 10mil for Iwobi on the basis of last season and we’re worse with money than most, so idk why anyone else would. And yeah, I just added Branthwaite to acknowledge that he’s a brands signing since he was left off the initial list.
