I had the pleasure of witnessing Nick Powell in a Crewe Alex shirt, he's definitely got the raw capability to be a solid EPL player.

He scored some really good goals at Wigan, but believe he had issues with his attitude?

Reckon Martinez could do well with Powell.

Wants a London club doesn't he?

Pretty sure he turned a few teams down during the summer because he wanted to stay down south, which is a shame but it's up to him I suppose.

Sorry for delay in replying DD, wasn't ignoring you ;) not too sure if he's looking to stay down south. Not even sure of he would be right for us but boy can that kid slot for fun. 2 totally different goals but equally superb.

He said he's already told the chairman he's staying there until the summer.

No problem Mac, yeah he's a natural goalscorer but I think he's likely to have his pick of a few southern clubs which prefers. I'd have Spurs down as favourites for the spare CL place this season if they managed to get him in January myself.

In fact from their perspective it looks a bit of a no brainier.

@Yid4life ?

Yep wouldn't surprise me to see him there. Could also see West Ham go in for him as well.

FC Twente won't be playing in Europe for the next 3 years - wonder if that'll make some of their players want to leave.

Hakim Ziyech is very decent and would fit in nicely on the left hand side

I found myself watching Twente at Feyenoord the other day (Sky has the Dutch league for some god known reason. Who knew?!) and Twente got snotted. I'm not sure which one he was but they all looked absolute toilet getting outshone by 94 year old Dirk Kuyt.
