I think McGeady is definitely off. Naismith and Mirallas it seems as well...Gibson if a team at the bottom end takes a punt on him.

As for players in, lets see but i think were 100% to see a striker in and also a left midfield player if these guys above go.

As i asked Jinyali the other day, i heard weve had scouts watching Dembele at Fulham (it was in the press we were keen also before) and have a senior scout watching him today).

Would take him as striker all day long.

Zat we won't get in two top notch players mate and highly doubt we will ship off 4 players in a January window mate

Finners - think we are more likely to see players leave in Jan than actually arrive, Martinez has used the window in the past to offload players who are pushing to be allowed - both Jelavic and Heitenga for their International chances, so can see some similarities with all 4 of those players - although think some of it is players posturing for more game time and in Gibsons case maybe angling for a new contract

Then again he stopped Distin leaving as he thought we needed him still, so he will regardless of what he says do what is best for Everton over what's best for that player as any good manager should really

A lot of teams will start to look abroad again IMO

As English team put top dollar on their players
Only the real potentially world class players will go for big money like sterling stones & Barkley maybe Kane & ali as well

When you get the likes of pardew quoting 40mil for bolasie who didn't even score a lot of goals last season and is dead inconsistent even though he's about 26

It safe to say bolasie won't be leaving palace anytime soon

Then again there is one team quite close to us who don't seem to let common sense get in the way of a transfer lol

I dont think anyone's said January for Butland unless it was a massive bid. I mean, if we did make the 4 sales mentioned above and Howard went to MLS then perhaps we had £25-30mil could do it however unlikely but we would be really thin squad wise and need a couple of decent loan signings.

Goalkeeper wise i think in Jan we will go for a foreign punt like the Ukrainian and see how he gets on till the summer as long as under £5mil. Otherwise perhaps the "new Butland" from one of the lower divisions and then send Robles out on loan or loan the new keeper out till season end.

Seems to me that Martinez has no confidence in Robles or is afraid to rock the boat with Howard. If its the former then we need 2 keepers...the latter would be weak management and i cant see it.

I think Martinez has players lined up and is using the "they want to play in the Euros" line to encourage bids to come in.

Didn't Norwich bid £8m for Naismith on deadline day? I can't see why they wouldn't still want him. And there would be plenty of clubs interested in Mirallas.

Scoring past Chelsea hasn't exactly proved that hard this season.
