Lukaku is orders of magnitude ahead of Sterling. Even factoring in the English passport premium (as in, Lukaku doesn't have one) a proven prem goalscorer in his early 20s is worth more than Raheem Sterling.

Lukaku is a homegrown player.

Zenit paid 40m Euro's for him, and I would imagine they would want to make a profit on him, so he's not going to come cheap.

1 year left in his contract. Zenit won't make a profit they will be lucky to get most of their purchase fee back.
