I get that the not being able to choose your seat is different to last year and for many that is rubbish.
And I may be about to chat wham but ….
My impression is that the lottery system is the same as last year but less pressurised and easier to take part in. I am a STH so wasn’t involved but my reading of the situation was, people phoned up and were allocated a random position in a queue, (I think there was lots of moaning about this in the threads last year). They then got to the front and could buy a ticket based on this random allocation of a position in a queue or they were sold out. The lottery being suggested is still just the random allocation of people in a queue. You just get a longer window to join the queue.
If I am wrong about what happened in the old system then ignore this post!
i guess loads were committed to going down the ground, getting on phones, being online at that time to get a ticket
before
moyes came in if you got in the queue for 10 you got a ticket
that changed with the factors of
moyes return, finite amount of games left at goodison and with increased tout activity . but that it would to back t normal after first couple of huge in demand games at bMd
i was hoping it would go back to a bit of a frenzy but still if you’re on the ball at 10 you get a ticket
know i feel like everyone will just apply to every game and its going to be something like a 1 in 10 chance of getting a ticket
and you can’t even choose a seat
