Everton That

English football had the worst reputation in Europe mate. Maybe you are too young but if hooliganism (and racism) wasn’t rampant in English football there wouldn’t have been a league-wide ban. Leeds and Man Utd were banned individually for rioting in the 1970s before it took off across the board in the 1980s. Everton had the most notorious hooligan firm in the north of England (county road cutters). And for racism at Everton, ask Les Ferdinand.
But it was rs fans who killed those poor Juventus fans. That's not point scoring btw, it's the truth. And your clubs handling of and response to the tragedy, has been totally and utterly inadequate. It's beneath contempt actually.

Getting Rooney at the point in our prem history where we were so rubbish and so poor he didn’t improve us and we had to sell him. 5 years earlier or later he probably propels decent Everton teams into the top 4 and we keep him.
That’s devastatingly true, though there’s also an argument we wouldn’t have had a five years later if not for selling him for much needed funds

Signing Gazza, Ginola, Sparky, Etoo, Rooney and others years after they might have been able to help us actually achieve something on the pitch.

Letting Moyes go to United and giving him an ovation for doing so.

Having signed the twenty stone Espen Baardsen for some unknown reason and then having an injury crisis actually have to use him. We dove over three balls at Spuds and the Euro charge falls short by three points.

Bringing the Dome back for the third time.

Selling Alan Ball to Arsenal on the basis he was finished; they went on to win the double.

The list could go on, I cannot.

Buying Ashley Williams, who had been a defensive god for Swansea and Wales, marshalling the defence and swatting attackers like files. He was precisely what we needed (and still do) a strong, vocal, totally committed captain. He joins the trikcy Blues and within weeks he morphed into Horace frigging Wimp :/
