He appreciated the club's history, and wanted the players to know what it means to play for a club that's won the league 9 times.

"We need to get rid of that mental block we've had for years. Why can we not go to Old Trafford and win. Why can't we go to Emirates and outpossess Arsenal... I think the players have started looking at that history trail and think, 'well I would love to have my picture there. And I think that's the first part of the battle, you need to have that vision, you need to have that dream. Then you have to perform on the pitch"
