Vlasic had a bit about him for a young lad.
He was a ridiculous buy at the time, because there was no plan to bring him through. We bought him after playing against his team in the Europa qualifying game.
I thought he could have been a useful prem player but wee Ed didnt use his strengths.

Seems to fit the profile of a "Brands" type signing people are after. Young, quick, athletic and a bit unknown. The obvious difficulty will be translating performance from the Russian league to the PL which is a big step up.

So Ronnie was actually being considerate in not giving him a locker. I had him all wrong

The Gulf in quality in this match is unreal.

I know Man City are on another level but not one of our players gets into this City team. Not even their bench.

Such a big transfer window this summer.

Unless a stupid amount is money is spent and any FFP restrictions are broken, if they still exist in the summer, then nothing is going to change. Getting 4-5 players in won't make a difference if their backups are trash too. We need a full clear out and get in like 10 quality players to ensure the first XI and the subs are at the quality. Otherwise it'll just be a continuous cycle.

Its all well and good signing better players but if the coaching / culture at the club is still mediocre what do you expect these better players to do?

4-5 of the right players can make a massive difference. Our away form is due to finding a tactic that works. The problem with our home form is we don’t have the attacking players good enough to break down teams. That needs to change this summer.

New RB, RW, no10 & another Striker would make a big difference.
