I'd love it if Richarlison stays but we need ONE of those 3 to leave in order to revamp the squad. DCL would be almost 100% pure profit but replacing him would be....challenging to say the least. But, like @Eggs, I have reservations about his injuries being a long term thing.

Zinchenko walks in and is our best centre mid, get him signed up immediately. For about £20m that’s a bargain. Imagine if we somehow got him and Gallagher…We’d actually resemble a football team.

Weren’t they all CMs by trade who filled in there, though? I may be wrong but I don’t remember Zinchenko playing CM at all for them.

This lad is a cm by trade too mate, city have never tried to say he's a lb now, he plays pretty much always as a cm fir Ukraine played cm prior to City in Russia, and only die to the fact that pep seems to love playing natural cms at left back has he been playing there for city.

That seems to be the general view, so I’m guessing he must have done. I just think if he’s spent his entire international career there but hasn’t been trusted there for City, there’s something missing at this level. To look at him, I’d say he looks lightweight but I’d probably have said that about Kante before I saw him play, so who knows?!

Look at man city in midfield mate - not exactly about being trusted it's about having De bruyne play where you do. And then having your starting lb banged up.

All speculation atm, but he'd be a great addition - for anything close to 10-15m and don't think he's on big wages either - in fact think he's on less than Davies ? then he'd be an unbelievable piece of business.

Would instantly upgrade the position hugely. Still need two more like

Interesting that the evertonhub Instagram post saying that Zinchenko was a target of Everton and Newcastle was liked by Zinchenko himself.

Zinchenko playing CM? Is this talk because we have been linked? If we are getting Zinchenko he will play LB instead of Mykolenko or Mykolenko going LCB with Zinchenko playing LWB.

1 - We aren`t getting Zinchenko
2 - There are far more pressing positions than LB, like CM and CB.

Cant help but think Frank is lining up to play 5 at the back and 2 in CM, if that is the case expect a relegation fight again next season.

If it is 3-4-3/5-2-3 then forget Conor Gallagher he wont fit that system, forget Dele Alli. In fact forget Doucoure, Allan, Delph, Gomes and Tom Davies who are all incapable of playing in a 2 man midfield. Iwobi will go RWB but will probably be outsted by Patterson who is far more natural in that position.
