Bit light up front obviously but that's a very decent window. There's enough quality in there to compete with the middle to lower middle pack and while Maupay won't be the 20 goals a season man he's the sort who can sometimes turn that defeat against Villa into a draw and that draw against Bournemouth into a win.

If that midfield balance is hopefully sorted we might progress beyond relying on low percentage balls in behind.
 

All this bed wetting about not getting a striker/ forward.

It’s not ideal BUT we all feared with premier league breathing down our neck we’d be lucky to bring in a few players and would mostly be shopping in the bargain bucket.

The deals we’ve done have on the whole been very good & logical.

8 players in I don’t think anyone would of predicted.

I’m disappointed we didn’t get another attacker, but still been a pretty good window all things considered
The way things were looking you could almost add Gordon to that list.
