With Carney Chukwuemeka now heading to Chelsea, surely they have more than enough of these fringe (some young) midfielders...

Hopefully may mean Gilmour or Gallagher will be available.

Take one of the above (ideally the latter) and splash some cash on Broja.

Interesting what they do with the lad they've just bought though, if they loan him out or keep him - if they keep him then you have to figure they plan to get him some playing time which likely further reduces the minutes Gallacher will get - think Gilmour is effectively done at Chelsea already.

The more of the likes of Barkley etc that they fail to shift the more likely it becomes they'll have to shift out the likes of Broja, Gallacher, Cowill etc just for finances

Broja is the obvious name, but unlikely I'd say.

….just a decent striker will do, not specifically aerially effective. People at Everton are paid lots of money to identify targets.

The reason I was thinking Arial effectiveness is because that's how we're set up to play, so we can continue with the model.

Dont think he'll be ready for their 1st team yet.
Only 18 , likely for their development squad.

…good strikers get on the end of quality delivery into the box, look at the headers Lineker scored from crosses during his brief spell here. Dobbin is 5ft 8in, he scored a terrific header for the u23s because of the quality on Patterson cross.

Rondon has a reputation for being decent in the air but he fails to get on the end of things because he’s immobile.

We need an athletic, pacy striker with a decent goal scoring record, the rest will look after itself.

The Athletic saying we have offered 24 year old Nathan Broadhead a new contract before sending him out on loan and have even refused bids to buy permanently. He'll return from that loan as a 25 year old who has played 10 minutes for Everton btw
