He was. I’m Palace mate. He’s got the occasional bit of quality and he didn’t stink the place out but he made no consistently positive impression. At all.

To be fair you also said Bolasie was fantastic for Palace…

Answering a question with a question is poor.

He scores goals at a much better rate per minute than our best striker, who is famed for not being very good at much other than scoring.

For a team in our position, having a backup striker who scores a goal every 150 minutes or so would be a marked improvement over where we are now.

Edit. Looks like he was brought in as Benteke had a bad injury, then benteke eventually got fit again at end of season.

Ollie Watkins is class and would be a great signing but you’ve clearly forgot our Villa visitors from earlier in the pre-season - they’re leagues above us now mate, a far better team and he’d never leave them for us.

Same reason he only got 9 goals and 1 assist in 14 games for Dortmund.

Because he was only on loan there for half of the season.

6 goals in 13 games in you count FA Cup games.

Batshuayi PL record: 15 goals in 77 apps
Niasse PL record: 12 goals in 55 apps

Niasse’s goals per game ratio in the PL is ever so slightly better than Batshuayi’s.

Why would anyone want us to sign him? Frightening.
