Doesn't this sort of depend on how you view Alli? IMHO he's not a wide forward, so we only have Gray, Gordon and McNeil who can play out wide (until Townsend returns), whereas Alli and Rondon both provide cover for DCL.

I'd prefer to see another left footer who can play wide right and CF.

Conversely if you perceive Alli as capable of playing out wide then I can see why you'd want a more specialist CF. I wonder if the decision will be made by simple analysis of who's available on loan?
Alli is an interesting one. Not mobile enough to play as striker I don’t think, but useful running off a striker (even Rondon who can at least hold the ball up). Vinagre could be an option off the right if we’re down to bare bones.. Personally I’d like an up and coming prospect but no one is selling those (and we have a couple in Simms and Dobbin). Batshuayi makes sense in our position, could be Kevin Campbell-esque

A year left in his contract. Sell just add a sell on clause.
Still at that price i just cant see it at all i think lampard will keep him if honest will see him as a rotation player. I would keep him i think would sign a new deal and i am sure we can get more than that
