Just trying to be a bit positive for once. I know people aren't particularly happy with us signing players from relegated and poor sides. But half the old Southampton squad have almost won 4 trophies last year. Sometimes players flourish under better coaching and surroundings, and we have to hope that is the case

We love a relegated player, soon we will have enough for a starting 11 of players relegated with other clubs.

Pickford, tarkowski, Godfrey, doucoure, mcneil, cornet.

I’m not concerned, were Tarks and McNeil good enough to save Burnley on there own, no but they were 2 of Burnley’s better players, they are now in new surroundings will be playing a different style I’m confident they will do well.
