Interesting that Ronaldo may be off...It wouldnt surprise me to see a bid in for DCL.

He was 'apparently' someone ETH was interested in a month or two ago.

Could be some more musical chairs this window.

Spurs are the ones to watch now. They've added Perisic and Richarlison to their attacking lineup, and also spent money elsewhere (Bissouma)... Can't help but wonder if Son is going to leave.

Can you therefore stop all this nonsense about defending, backing managers, sensible transfer dealing, and supporting your football team and get with the programme already please

That appears to be the consensus opinion. The new rule about five substitutions might make a difference though.

I don't see the point in playing three CBs every game if it means we have to stockpile in that position to the detriment of funding upgrades in midfield and and attack. We can play a back four with our existing personnel, so sell Mina and Keane asap.

In my experience with Everton I have to agree. The seasons we’ve been crap at football have been the ones that have seen us closest to being relegated.

Possibly true if we hadn't already in the post-Moyes era. During Moyes we were stingy at the back so wouldn't have then.

throw Leicester & Villa in there too. Both were poor last season.
