Seems Kalvin Phillips is the one Dyche wants according to the Echo. Not sure though I would sign him even if he returns to his best. Seems Doucs might play a deeper role and with Gana, Garner and the Villa lad why would we need an expensive player sit on the bench

I don’t see how we can value him at £70/80m using the argument he’s better than Maguire, but then pay him probably a fifth of what he is on.

The value is based upon future potential whilst salary is based upon current performance and experience. United wouldn't pay him what Maguire is on either.

Whatever about Moshiri or Kenwright, the person most to blame for our current plight is Olivier Giroud's wife.

I doubt the club are looking at it like that he's 21 and has quite a bit of experience now he might not be seen as a key player but I doubt they think of him as someone who isn't going to be involved until next year.
