We’ll get linked to a fair few this week. We don’t have any money, but deals will still be worked on on the off chance we get an acceptable offer for one of our players. Then the donkey work on signing will already be done. No sales, no signings though.

Both fees get an extra 15m stuck on them and both clubs get a 10m extra p&s boost for the season.

I speculated a whole ago about Chelsea for this reason. I'd be over the moon if something could be done re Fofana and DCL, and even better if fees can be bumped up a bit.

Our season success this year will depend on getting back to being solid. People don't want to hear it. Fofana will help that if something can be done.

The boost from potentially siging Fofana with actual money received for shipping out Snidey Maupay would go a long way towards repairing the relationship with fans.
