You left Masaon Holgate out of this equation.

I am hoping he stays out.
I am simply pointing out the young centre half we are linked with may be a huge success like Branthwaite rather than a disappointment like Holgate.
The signing of good young players, but even though they are young they have already started to play adult football, these are the signings we need more of.

Phillips or McTominay, and I'd be fine with us going like that into the season. We'd still be short but being realistic I think we'd do and honestly I'd prefer we do that before sales if possible. That way we can focus just on getting rid of the likes of Holgate who'll never play a minute regardless and if an offer comes in for DCL or someone then it's a 1-in-1-out situation.

Worst thing we could do now with the rumours is sell DCL and gamble on bringing in a midfielder and his replacement for his money as the season is already started, I don't trust the club to get the deals done.

I would guess they couldn't afford to match the wages he was on at Utd and instead have given him an extra long contract at a lower salary.

Yeah you are probably right. It’ll make him a nightmare to shift though if it doesn’t go to plan.

We have 4, 5 if count the youngster Dixion who can play RB, but one LB

Surely they are matching his Man United wages for a 4 year deal over an extra 3 years.

His mrs wants Italy or Spain, I think he’s not arsed about English clubs unless it’s a big one, he will sign a pre contract in January with Milan or inter or another Italian club is my guess

Thought Chelsea were going all out for Oismhen. Dom isn’t good enough to be starting for United or Chelsea anyways
