Everton Soares has liked Everton latest Instagram post. What does that mean?
With respect mate thats been in the press for a while ....nothing new there.Per Skysports
Everton are again being strongly linked with Gremio winger Everton Soares but the Brazilian club's chief executive has played down the speculation.
Reports resurfaced in the past few days that the Toffees were eyeing their namesake who is consistently being linked with a move to Europe.
There were even suggestions that Everton have made an approach for the player nicknamed "the Little Onion" which were fuelled further when Richarlison messaged him on social media saying that, "we are waiting for you."
However, Klauss Camara was quoted in the Brazilian as saying that while there has been plenty of chatter, there hasn't actually been an approach thus far for the player who is reportedly valued at around €35m.
"Everton in Everton is a situation that has been coming out more intensely. But there is no proposal put forward," he said.
Marcel Brands indicated at Tuesday' AGM that the club are looking at players able to play wide on the right and Soares would fit that description.
Sorry mate, where have Everton rubbished the claim?Per Skysports
