If we are seriously in for him then 20-25 mill would be paid in instalments and appearance based.

This lad has got a lot going for him. He can score all types of goals, good with both feet, runs with the ball, got an eye for a pass.

If we are building for next few years he is the type of player we should be looking at. Rather take a gamble on him at a decent wage than pay
some over the hill 30 year old 100k a week.

What am I missing here? Player of the season for Norwich. Really? is that it? for £30m?
He has played a total of 44 games (in the championship) scored 15 goals (14 of them last season)
35 games (in league 1) scored 5 goals
14 games (in Scottish prem) scored 2 goals
Apparently he has scored an occasional worldy, but really what am I missing?
Is he not just yet another flavour of the month player?

Yet, the Championship is of comparable standard to the Eredivisie, and everyone gets excited over Lozano. Being English is like carrying a massive baggage whereby everyone questions the wisdom of signing you. If you’re foreign, everyone gets excited. English? Not a chance. Does my head in.

If anything it works the other way. Most clubs expect to be paid a 'premium' for English youngsters.

I’m not disputing the ‘ English tax’. But it Works the other way? What? The fans are more excited at buying English than foreign? Not a chance, I’m on about the poster I replied to dissing our interest in Maddison whilst posting decent stats from the Championship. A league that is comparable to the Dutch League, yet everyone gets excited over Lozano. Different types of players I know. But both very talented. Yet the English player gets dissed by his him.

Don’t really want to be paying a decent fee for a player fresh off a ligament injury. What if he comes back and his pace is shot?

I love how this kid is getting written off by a load of bloos already. We've got to sign someone, from somewhere, eventually. I'll take the word of Brands and Silva, two blokes who get paid to spot talent, over Baz from Bootle any day thanks.

Mate is a Bolton ST holder. He said he was the best player he saw at the Reebok last year. Admittedly it was only the championship, but nevertheless he was impressed.

The championship is a decent standard nowadays IMHO. Let's think about it, it's deffo the best league 2 in the world and even better than some country's first division, I reckon its better standard than the Eredivisie, SPL, all the Asian Leagues, Greek League, Probably even the Turkish League when you exclude the CL teams.
