I have not read any letters on this forum about Maddison but I arrived back home today after a short break, when I saw this my reaction was sign him as soon as possible, for me he is better than any thing we have got at the moment, fast scores goals, is young and a touch of arrogance about him, in my opinion he will play for England one day. Which is great. Genuinely thus is how sport should be, developing and building your own team, not just buying everybody else's stars with a massive chequebook like Chelski.

..regardless of buying proven or potential, it carries risk. The only success factor is buying players who turn out to be good. The key is getting folk in who buy the right players regardless of cost.
