I really don't know why we are messing around over the purchase of a left back so late in the transfer window, it is not as if it will come as a surprise to anyone that we need one. Leaving it this late means selling clubs now.know we are getting desperate.

But we got our summer transfer done nice and early and that ended up as a pile of [Poor language removed] so maybe the new tactic is wait until last minute for a bargain, like bidding on ebay.
