£4.5 mil 19 years old, plays every game for club and country and looks like he has more quality than TD23 and moves faster than Gomes

Quite evident from yesterday that we still need a decent midfielder, an attacking RB and a forward who can slot.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Trippier playing in Royal Blue.

More paper talk today of Everton going in for Felipe Anderson. I obviously haven't seen him play but if Porto aren't keen to keep him and even West Ham don't want him back then I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. I don't want to be signing players that other teams don't want. I want to be going in hard for a decent teams best player and giving them an incentive to leave. We're never going to improve by signing cast-offs.

In theory yes but with better quality players. To be fair, Gylfi was a cracking player for Swansea and I'm pretty sure at the time most people were happy with the signing even though we all knew the price was too high. We also had to fight to get Richarlison and he's certainly improved us as a team.
