Jovic has stalled ever since he moved to Real, although I accept that he's had injury problems recently.

A 6 month loan on decent terms would be sound though.

He thrives in a 3 tho. Which apparently is what Fronk wants us to play. And he is still quite young, literally just turned 24 about a month ago.

Standard Levy stuff really.

I'd have preferred to have loaned him than El Ghazi to be fair, if he returned to form with a new challenge then he'd be a top player, but not on a permanent deal at the money he'd cost.

He seems like he's more interested in life outside of football than furthering his career nowadays, maybe I'm wrong.

Caught a bit of talksport earlier with Redknapp talking about his nephew Frank, the job he needed to do here bringing in better players, January transfers and 'liking Delli Ali'...

If someone can get a tune out of Alli then its a top signing.

I worry he’s another player who wants to get on the end of things. He worked at Spurs because he had Eriksen and Dembele creating in the midfield behind him and he had Kane as a foil upfront. His entire game was about making runs beyond Kane, arriving in the box at the right time, scoring goals etc. As soon as those other midfielders left and managers moved him further back to try and create then he’s been found to be useless in that area.

It worries me because Richarlison wants to get on the end of things, so does DCL, so does VdB. They all want to play a one touch lay off and then get themselves into the box. If we’re not careful we’re going to have half the team trying to do this but there’s still no one who can play the passes into those advanced areas.

We effectively need the Eriksen and Dembele equivalents in this midfield, not the Dele Alli type.

I'm not aware of anyone we have on our books currently who earns that much?

Pretty much every report had it at 100k pw mate
