Kenwright has hinted in recent interviews that their are complications impeading a takeover wheater thats the stadium, or the credit crunch who knows, the good news is no one on here beleives him except me, so youve just wasted your time reading this post!

again, its another reason to be positive. Whilst we dont have the mega money that foreign investors bring - our manager has proven to be effective on limited funds.

Also we are for the majority, owned by English people with a connection to the Liverpool area - not a bunch of american fuckwit investors or a bunch of oil shieks or russian oligarchs.

They are not human rights abusers in Russia, Saudi Arabia or Thailand.

These people, regardless of the fact that they have little money, live and breathe our club - they are not just entries in an excel spreadsheet.

I'm feeling well upbeat this new year and want to share it with my blue brethren.

I share your sentiments Leonbil.

Some people are just never satisfied no matter how well it's going. They'll find something to moan about.

The stadium was too cold yesterday. Call ourselves a top rank club and we can't even have underseat heating ? Moyes, Kenwright, get it sorted !

thanks TX Bill. Glad to see I'm not alone.

good time to be a blue and no mistake.

You're certainly not alone. I'm always one for a positive look at things. I agree, it's a good time to be a blue. We're sixth in the League, with a nice cushion between our rivals for that spot. Even if we lose all three games ahead of us, we could very well still be in the top six.

We may not have as much money as our rivals, but at least our players have that kind of togetherness and pride for the shirt. Things could certainly be a lot worse.

No offence mate, but to be content with 6th place and feel that David Moyes is the best manager we could have just makes you the polar opposite of the people you are berating. There's a big grey area inbetween those two positions and the people who inhabit that ground are ambitious for the club not moaners and whingers.

The whole point of football is to be the best. Often it seems that our fans have forgotten that fact, and are happy being just below that position. So, Dave is correct in his view. If we are to push on, it means all concerned being constantly critical of the club and the way it operates. I'm not saying we break with reality and expect the impossible. But we do need to continually look at the negatives and attempt to seek answers as to how they can be turned around.

Think every Evertonian has to be ambitious. It's the clubs motto, so we shouldn't settle for anything less. Reality however, is that at the moment we can't compete (financially) with a lot of other clubs. We simply don't have a mega-rich investor, so before that changes, the reality is we're performing to the top of our abillity.

Regarding David Moyes, I'm not saying he's the best manager around, but honestly believe he's the best manager for this club at the present time. He worked miracles for us with a very tight budget and I'd love to see Benitez, Wenger and Ferguson handle that situation.

We still have a long way to go. Think everyone who supports the Toffees will agree to that. However, can't help to think that clubs who have lots of money to spend (Spurs, City, Newcastle, etc...etc...)are jealous of our position.
