Everton fans behavior

The half time thing is probably because the concourses at Goodison are so narrow that if you want a beer etc then you will be queuing for 15 minutes plus.
A huge pain and loss of revenue for the club.
Hence the new stadium.
You would have thought the stadium of light would be better designed?

I live down south so the most I’ve ever gone to Goodison in a season is I reckon four times as it’s an expensive all day trip so I’ve never left my seat a second before half time or full time whistle and my god have I been to some awful games (my last four are probably our worst losses in the last three years)

BUT for all the more local lads and lasses who can go every week and it’s not as special an occasion I can absolutely see why they’d get off early if they’ve got something on they need to get to
Have you ever considered just watching on the TV/Internet?

If the result is clear 10 mins before full time loads will get off. It certainly makes a difference at Kirkdale Station . Another thing is I sit just behind the hospitality seats and they are bobbing up and down to the bogs all the game.

Yeah for the "toilet". Wait till that 777 guy is here and they'll be up and down more times than Newcastle and chatting their heads off.

If the result is clear cut I often leave on around 85 minutes to get a seat on the first 919 bus outside back into town, once it is full it leaves immediately and you can be in town by 5pm, sensible really.

I often tease my brother about the home game against Fulham back in the Graversen days. We won 2-0 with goals in the 44th and 46th minutes and he missed both getting a pie and a pint in.

We had driven 4 hours from Northumberland and had a 4 hour drive back where, despite the comfortable win, he wasn’t in the best of fettles.

Spoke to a few saying the atmosphere was terrible and didn’t help the team yesterday. I was at the game and didn’t notice myself, perhaps I’m just used to it.

What did everyone else think?

I think the atmosphere at goodison is crap (except for evening kickoffs), but so is every other stadium. Football has died on its arse and sky don't care because they just use fake crowd noise on their coverage anyway.
