Not gonna lie. I hope our lads go out and lay some street justice on those horrible little French [Poor language removed]. Attacking kids and the elderly? Hate them.

Given it would be impossible for "our lads" to accurately identify any of the masked culprits and give them a good shoeing, I take it you mean just go out and "lay some street justice" on any French randomer they come across?

Yes, that would be great for the image of our club and our city.

We might have our very own Michael Shields situation.

Maybe even end up with us banned from Europe next season or sommat.

EVERTON FANS ATTACKED

BREAKING NEWS
Giulia Bould BBC Radio Merseyside In the last few minutes, Everton officials have confirmed to BBC Radio Merseyside two of their fans suffered minor facial injuries after a gang stormed a bar in Lille last night armed with metal chairs. More on this later.

You're thinking of De Gaule and his firm, cowardly bunch of turds.

You do have to question the stupidity of Everton Fans drinking in the Australian Bar though, who in their right mind would choose Castlemaine XXXX, VB, and Fosters over Leffe? Madness.

Anyway I'm getting up now for some breakfast, long day ahead.

The one thing guaranteed to send these cowards running for the hills is a man with a gun speaking in German very loudly.

Packs Bayonet and SS Uniform.
I with you on the Leffe my friend !

Fingers crossed that the incident doesn't seem to have been as bad as initial reports suggested.

I was expecting dozens of fans to have been injured but that report, if accurate, eases my mind a bit ax I have some friends arrived in Lille yesterday.

Australia has some great lagers - Hahn, Boags, Cascade Premium, Redback (in WA), and Toohey's New isn't too bad either. Shame none of them ever get over here.

Yes....and one imagines that any injuries not reported are of an even more "minor" nature than the two "minor injuries" the report says two fans are being treated for.

I don't know about you, but what we were hearing on here last evening had me fearing the worst and that a lot of Everton blood had been spilt.

I am both thankful and relieved that, if that report is accurate, the incident was on nothing like the scale we feared last night when the news was breaking.

Absolute fcking scumbags, Lille fans and the police.

I'm really sorry for people injured but those idiots are not Lille fans at all. I think most of them don't even go to the games.
They just want newspapers and TV channels speak about their stupid actions.
Just a bunch of "no-life".

Feel safe about the rest of your trip, real Lille fans are friendly and those cowards have had what they want : some publicity.
I hope the police is not going to be more stupid.

my mate with this 2 young nephews got attacked (only him) and now his nephews want to go home as they are scared. 2 other mate got attacked in the square on there own.

Now I dont know about you but both are not happy and rightly so. What do you warrant as 'not very serious' or 'minor ' ?

I'm in the eurstar lounge now the police are pulling Everton fans to see if any are banned
