Really gutted to hear he's passed away. Sat about 7-8 rows in front so was aware of the situation behind us and the efforts of those who tried to save this man's life. Knew he wasn't in great shape when they brought him past but hoped he'd pull through

I was at the match for the first time in over 2 yrs with my son. Former season ticket holders and great to be back. Like we'd never been away. I'm the same age as the deceased and feel terrible. At Goodison we are one big family and we truly sympathise for the family. RIP mate
