Not sure they really had a lot of choice mate, or at least, no choice that really mattered
They couldn't really leave it till tomorrow to announce, so they either announce it during the game, or wait till the game's over and hope we got a result. If people think such a thing is really worth worrying about, then they're likely a bit odd.

Anyway, nearly six months after we sold Lukaku, we've finally signed a striker. Hopefully he scores goals and stuff.
 
Was at a Turkish restaurant in north London tonight and asked the waiter’s about him. All said he would be a good signing and they can’t believe his gone to Everton and not to a Roma or Dortmund type team.

Perked me up after hearing that so he will probably turn out to be gash knowing Everton.

Sky sports has an article about him and they have asked don Hutchinson as the expert on Turkish football to do a write up of him.

Proper boss as well, gets his age wrong for s start......
 

Good luck to him, he may need time to settle in, we need a successful signing after all the garbage that's gone on, so let's give him a chance and support him.
 
Nice of the club to go slow on the admin stuff so that we couldn't bring him on to play against Liverpool. Because brand new signings need time and never score in their first games (oh wait vvd...).

If only we had a director of football to manage these things...
 

I'm cautiously optimistic, seems to have 2 good feet and is a decent finisher, physical enough for the PL and will be desperate to succeed. If he gets good service then he can perhaps be a bright spot for us the rest of the season and beyond.

At this point I'll take any top half finish with no further injuries to important players, hopefully Seamus can be eased back in soon as we've missed him desperately.
 
Some of them say he is second striker no way man are you serious he is coming from champıons league and play semi final euroleague last year calm down homie calm down he ll be best striker in the team

the same Everton that decide to sell our prized asset, diamond ross barkley on FA Cup derby day.

I'm going to get behind Tosun and wish him well.

But what sort of organisation, releases press statements at half time when losing 1 nil in arguably their biggest game left in the season, and what must Tosun have thought about this perculiar timing. I'm sure he would of wanted abit of a fanfare considering his sizeable move??

the Barkley news would have inevitably drowned any good stuff out anyway I suppose, but dear god, please Everton , have a word with yourself.

we are an amateur football club at all levels I'm afraid.

this is all happening on Moshiri's watch. things like this come from the top, or at the very least the team he has put in place to make these decisions.

the bloke is an absolute whopper.
