Don't throw in the towel just yet folks. There is still a game of football to be played. Who knows what will happen. Silva might just stumble on a plan. His players might stumble into some sort of decent form. Leicester might go easy on us. And we might just ( for once) turn up.
Or maybe.....just maybe Silva might be gone. Off into the wilderness to manage the faroe islands or Luxembourg. (His level). And we go into December under a manager who knows what he is doing. And can get a tune out of our players.
Who knows?
Anyhow.....Villa might turn over Liverpool. And the Manchester clubs just might underestimate the lower league clubs. And get turned over. Who knows?
Let's just concentrate one match at a time. And beat The Foxes.
Always look on the bright side of life......do do...da da...do do...da da...do do.......

Decent draw imo.
It was a toss between Leicester or villa cos wed Everton against those lower sides or crumble against the others.
No reason we cant hit a bit if form by then.
Need the old lady rocking.

Given Leicester will have turned us over in the league two weeks before, and we'll very very likely go into the game on the back of four straight defeats (Leicester A, Liverpool A, Chelsea H, United A), I see nothing but a monumental struggle here. Anybody doubting this needs just look at how we've played this season, including that terrible performance against Watford this week.

If it makes you feel any better I'm not particularly confident. Our record hasn't been bad against you in terms of results, but I don't think we've played well against you many times at all.

Let’s face it we’ve drawn the third best team in the competition (currently) at home. It probably sits around 7th or 8th most difficult out of the possible ties we could have had.

But the rest of the draw (using the likely outcomes) is a rotter.

Why get out of bed in the morning? I mean you're going to die in the end anyway.

And the reward for either team will be a lovely two legged tie against Man City
The mighty Norwich City beat Man City. Wolves also. They can be beat.
Tough ....yes. But they can be beat.
If our fragile little darlings can grow a backbone.
And if our manager can come up with a plan. If we can take our chances (when they come). If we can somehow learn to defend. Well you never know.
You never bloody well know.
Anyhow.....Oxford might beat them....on pens. Who knows.
Ok folks.......Taxi for the trinity.

your team the last 2 round have been Nine changes to the starting team v Burton on wednesday to the league game previous [v southampton]
plus 7 starting changes v Luton,to the league game previous [v spurs] in previous round,be surprised if you dont go full strength for a Q/F
Puel got absolutely hammered for going with a reserve team against Man City in the quarters last season, I'd hope the club make it clear to Rodgers the fans want a trophy, the only way that happens is to take it seriously.
