From 2021 the winner of this/whomever finishes 7th will enter the new 3rd tier european comp the Europa Conference league.

Basically the Europa League is being reduced from 64 to 32 so in essence the bottom 32 will be in the new comp instead.

Sounds positive and gives a club like us more chance of winning something. Positive news from Eufa for once.

I think this is whats needed for us to have a chance later in the Comp. Some more of the 'top' sides have to go out before the QF stage. Of course, we could well draw City or the RS in the next round.

It was probably when we beat them 5-0 in the 1971 FA Cup at Goodison. We wore our change strip for some strange reason IIRC.
