As ever these things are a bit complicated, but this is not unexpected and has been on the cards for a couple of months now. We suspended one of our Academy staff , Martin Waldron, as a result. Basically it involves us trying to sign up a Cardiff City schoolboy in 2016, apparently it didn’t work out as it was a “ cross border” signing, things fell through and he eventually ended up at United.

..yep, it’s been mentioned on here for a while so it’s not unexpected.

Appears we can sign over 18s, I think that means we could still sign the likes of DCL, Stones and Holgate which have been a fruitful strategy for us.
