Everton and VAR

If you don’t want to get more irate about this incident do not listen to yesterdays Guardian football podcast or you’ll be looking to set fire to Barney Ronay’s house.

To be fair apart from Lars everyone on that podcast properly despise Everton, so I’m not surprised there

To be fair our goal was given until he folded under the pressure from Utd whining.

They were doing it all game, getting in his face and intimidating him.
Fred literally barged into him at one point. Ole is a disciple of Fergie, and ex class of 92 players have since openly admitted that they used to employ such tactics to get decisions to go their way. Had Everton players tried the same however....

I was all for VAR. Thought things would eventually level out and we'd get our fair share of the errors they're making.

Hate the thing now, rather scrap the whole thing and go back to how it was.

Me too. I didn't realize how easily it could be manipulated. By applying a bit of inconsistency here and there, they can basically have games go any way they want. It should also be pointed out that not only have Everton lost a lot of points because of absurd decisions this season, man united gained plenty, due to equally ridiculous penalty decisions going in their favor.

Is there an alternative league table or record from officials of what decisions have been wrong through far?

Would be interesting to see how many more points we should have.

Love the way that keeps saying Sigurdsson is pretending to be injured despite less than 10 seconds earlier been wiped out clean, even when they are getting told that by people lol
As I said on twitter, how ironic that a ref is unwilling to admit a mistake despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

He keeps talking about respect but is showing no respect to Sigurdsson saying he dived

Max is alright to be fair - Glendenning has a obscure hatred of us which I only assume is down to the fact our rejects got his club relegated

Yeh it was Barry, Barney and some lass and they just kept saying “it’s offside, I can’t see how they can argue against”. Wilson would have been good; he’s one of the best on there.
