Ah right. Ta @roydo

So I clicked on their website and they're dead links as it were. http://www.power8.com/

And found this article http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2015...on-fc-fulham-fc-rcd-espanyol-giant-ponzi.html

Slightly dodgy? Who knows. Just found it weird is all, basically nothing about them on the net at all aside from a quick blurb on our website re: our sponsorship deal

Update: they are dodgy as 'eck, they are in fact a massive pyramid-style investment fraud:

...and also they amount to another embarrassing skiddy on the once unblemished undergarment that is our club's image. Bit of explaining to do.

**For 'link-ception', click on the hyperlinked phrase before the clip of Robert Elstone where it mentions Everton fans being less than impressed.**

So...if 'a leading supplier of crude oil' wanted to use Everton to improve its 'global reach' you wouldn't be interested? You really can't see much positive when it comes to Everton can you ? Sit down and have a cup of tea, or something. Think of GOOD things !!!;)

this went well for you didnt it

Strange timing for the story to appear in the Echo in view of the fact that the logo and link to Power8 on the Everton website was taken down at least 2 weeks ago. Was a piece on toffee web 2 weeks ago, went on everton web site and surprise surprise no power8 link any more.
Also find it strange that if EFC sought clearance from NCA, must have suspected something, so why go ahead with renrwing the deal.
From memory, Power8 was a Costa Rican company according to the nakedcapitalist piece, which was first posted back end of 2014.
Costa Rican Compnies Registry do not require the name of the beneficial owners or shareholders, the tax authorities require accounts filed annually, but will not be on public record, so that's OK then.
Can't find a maximum permissable issued share capital for an IBC but it's late and I'm tired.
Sort of BVI jurisdiction and then some.
