Great write up, That Air Florida kit takes me back. Used to live in a little village near Salisbury called Downton, remember Southampton reserves played them in a pre-season game (mid 80s). lawrie mcmenemy was manager then. Still got the programme somewhere. Score was about 11-1 to southampton I think

I lived there - well Redlynch. My sister lived in Downton. I went to Bishop's from 13yrs old. Birkenhead and Calday up till then.

Southampton really is badly average. I'm every way. It's not crap, but it's not good either. Average.
