When he turned and the leg came out i thought penalty, then when he went down like he did i thought the ref was gonan book him for diving.

Definate foul though, looked a bit iffy but i'd like to know if there is a proper way of falling after being tripped!

The way we are playing and making chances this could of been another Sunderland result. 7-1 that is. Righjt now a 3-0 will do.

8 shots on target and 7 off.

Need another one before the 70 min mark really, can see them getting more into the game as it goes on.

really is a blinding performance, just think how it really could be stupid figures for goals now !!!

lets hope second half lives up the first, we all know how much half time can change things... look at us vs united ... ahhh worried a bit, we need a second goal

That's the best 45 minutes I've seen from us in years. Even in other great performances (e.g. the Sunderland 7-1) we've given the opposition a sniff. That was just annihilation. I'd say it was men against boys, but I'm pretty sure Bolton have the older team too.

Great stuff from the blues - good passing and possession, patient and mostly accurate.

Bolton are trying to pressure the man in possession and hurry us into losing the ball. And you know what? That would have been a good policy only a month or two back - we'd have lost the ball for sure. But today, it's playing right into our hands. And the only other club I've seen that can keep the ball as consistently as we have this first half and make chances so regularly has been Man Utd.

Oh My God. What have I just said?? Shouldn't get too carried away but we really have been that good. You're right Dutch, that's the closest to The School Of Science I've seen in years.

I am not really that worried about villa, there is absolutely no way they can last through the rest of the season with luck, its bound to come back and bite them on their a.sses.

Thing is we just need to catch arsenal, and chase them for the rest of the season as long as we play brilliant footie i can see us catching them..or it's a case of hoping utd win the carling cup so we can get into europe again, I still dont think we have a big enough squad for the champs league..unless something major happens in the summer which i dont think it will with all the moaning about no money..i'll take a uefa cup place right now thanks (y)
