McNeil at #10 is a disaster so far, Barry is isolated as usual.

Too many players below par. Dibling not good, McNeill is useless, Tim absent sometimes, Tarks sloppy.

Grealish is our best player imo but McNeill is so static as a AM and without a proper attacking wingback there is zero movement around him.

Really impressed by Brentford, but the complete opposite goes for us. We've been played off the park there. Lucky to only be 1 down. Type of game where you have to make a change at half time - it's been that bad.

Classic Everton performance when w have an opportunity to make progress. Exactly the same as Newcastle and Spurs. Lucky to not be three down again.

The thing about being not very good is that sometimes you play well and more often you don’t which evens out to below average. Today is the stinker that was due to happen.
