Can’t play open with Tarks and Keane at the back. Chronically slow and exposed if we don’t have pace and control in the midfield hence why we were over run all game.

Unfortunately we have owners and a CEO who are telling us not to expect much in January, maybe loans. The state of the squad deserves better if they are serious about restoring the club. Younger players w long term potential are fine if you have a balanced and experienced squad in the first place.

We will end the season in the position we deserve. Because the league is tight at the moment single results skew things. My hope for this season was not to spend the first 36 games worrying about relegation, and it looks like that won't be the case as it would take an appalling run to put us in trouble. Hopefully a right back comes in and we can get a half decent striker on loan. If neither of those things happen I struggle to see anything other than a bottom 6 finish. If we were to get both, we'd have a chance of challenging for a top half finish.

Spurs hadn't scored from a corner all season then they scored two against us.

I really hope we get some signings this window and early not waiting for deadline day. Big summer for us also. Typical Everton game this. Feeling positive and a great opportunity to go higher up the table but then have such a lacklustre game with no fight urgency. Mistakes all round too much passing back and slowing game down. Hoofing and losing the ball by doing so. So frustrating. Beto and Barry up front again against Wolves hopefully batter them and give them both confidence. Armstrong starting and no Keane and Tarks ever again. Play someone else RB and someone who can bloody cross the ball at RB

Concerning that 3 out of our 4 defeats at HD have been by hefty margins

I’m still not concerned about the season, but we absolutely have to get full backs in at minimum this month

Brighton should have battered us in the first game. It could easily have been 0-4 at HT.
