It was a nothing game between 2 mid-table teams, bit still really grates. I suppose it's because we just rarely get the rub of the green and this was the latest example. I mean we're still nowhere near the horrendous treatment Wolves had under O'Neill when this sort of thing seemed to happen to them every week, but I still feel hard done to.
Penalty against Young today.
Handball against the RS
Beto being flattened against Leicester
The 3 penalties in one incident against Villa.

All clear cut penalties not given in the last four or five games.

While VAR is main talking point, I feel that failing to make subs earlier is costing us. RS it nearly cost us, Palace it nearly did and today. I would of took Doucore off earlier, because I actually think he's better suited to starting against Brentford. He's better playing away from home on break, than at home. Also I think we missed Mangala, such a shame he got injured.

Yeah, totally agree. I don’t know why an alarm isn’t set at 60’ to pull Doucoure IF you insist on starting him over Alcaraz. I still think it should be the other way round with Charly on for 60’ and sub in Doucs only if needed.

Away from the 'penalty ' I was amazed we had so many players booked and until the last minutes they only had one...we seem to be the easy target all the time for these balloon brained officials....sick of watching incompetent morons ruin the game
I honestly think from hearing former refs saying Goodison is intimidating and the crowd shout for everything that referees walk onto the Goodison pitch esp if we are playing the so called big teams with the mentality that they won't let themselves look like the crowd are intimidating or influencing them into decisions and go totally with the opposition

The only solution is the conversation being played out live in the stadium and on the TV. With the referees requesting the angles they need to see. Like rugby.

That or just get rid. I don't think it's done anything for football.
I find it very hard to celebrate goals etc like I used to and I'm sure it's the same for most. I'm just there straight away expecting var to forensically investigate so called obvious errors or toe nail offsides for a few minutes and it's generally 50.50 at best outcome in favour of us. I think the penalty against Brighton has been the biggest urine take of how long an obvious decision took to get right

And yet not a word from anyone at the club about it. Just like last season when the club released the statement when we got the points deduction that they will be looking with interest at how the PL deals with other clubs regarding psr. Alot has happened since regarding Forest, Leicester and how Man United and Chelsea have wormed their way around it. Yet surprise surprise, nothing from the club

Sick of this small time mentality from them for way too long now. No wonder officials don't mind regularly screwing us over as there will be zero fuss from Everton and zero repercussions

I thought the Lindstrom substitution changed the game.

Once young was deployed at RM we sat back and allowed United to dominate possession and as always Garnacho became a problem for us. The Young substitution to nullify that didn’t work.

Although I thought their left side of Dorgu and Garnacho were very very good. Either way it’s 2 points dropped for me

I did say here that on thing I was sure of before the game is that we wouldn't be embarrassed (in terms how we play) no matter what the final score would be. And I'm not ashamed by performance, we were very good in 1HF, but disappointed that we got ourselves in trouble in the 2HF by easing the grip on them and tending to stay in the back.

But what I didn't not expect and was completely not prepared for was the level of ref sh-show, obvious and so blunt in favor for mugscheating united that it made me feel sick.
O’Brien got a yellow for less contact than the penalty.
and no only him mate! I was shocked that similar or worse cases for them were never a yellow!
Mykolenko could get his ankle twisted or even broken by full stomping on his front foot part! - no yellow for that.

although I do question the free kick for their first goal. Having seen a replay back now on TV, I think Doucoure’s arm is wide of his body but it’s not unnatural. I would argue it’s unnatural to jump with your arms welded to your side.
No questions mate, natural or unnatural it is clearly out there to cross the ball flight, BUT the very first free kick (that led to a goal eventually) shouldn't have been given at all! Cause the mugscheating fella was trying to play a hockey stuff by pouncing upon our defender, and then felt as if he was pushed, with no legs contact or torso movement from our lad toward him.

MU is one of the few clubs that I'm always against when they played with someone. Though I had felt a bit sorry for Amorim when he was sitting with his face in palms against the Spurs. But now... I'm so mad that I just want them go down.
Harry fecking McGuire built like lamber jack and falling with a slightest breeze as he had just ran from a death camp!
Now even arrogant Haaland with his whole City mates pumped by sheik's money don't repulse me as these mugscheating united.

Oh, I wish Ipswitch to steal some points from them. Funny thing (in no funny way) it will be Ipswitch, not we to do the job.

just now watched the game...a joke...,the PL is bent beyond repair...from the officials, the VAR, the commentary...just corrupt. It's why I no longer pay a cent to follow it live.
But happy with the improvement in Everton...nice team. David Moyes' reappointment lent a 'colour me sceptical' nuance...but I was wrong.

Just a pity the League is so corrupt.

Can’t understand some of the fume at Moyes over his subs.

He has changed us around and we are an already thin squad suffering an injury spell not too dissimilar to Spurs that has been talked about by pundits as an excuse for far worse results.
I'm far from any elaborate critique against Moyes, but I really couldn't understand why Young? I instantly thought to myself "not him, not in this game!"
Bear in mind I have no doubt that Young has his heart and full commitment to Everton club, but still... to bring on the guy against the team where he had spent his prime years? I don't know, call it football superstition, but what a coincidence - the foul was made upon him, the foul that in 9 out 10 would be a pen wasn't given.

Just decided to watch the highlights now. What the hell was Doucoure doing for their 2nd goal? He is right on front of their goal scorer when it drops to him. If Doucoure just stands still he blocks it but instead paces to his right opening up the whole goal as the United player takes the shot.
Mind Boggling
