Moyes needs to kick himself on the arse for this - Doucoure was gassed and should've been subbed about 25-30 min earlier, Garner too. Why wait? Why pull back the whole team insanely deep so early in the 2nd half?

Classic Moyes, in a way, but frustrating to throw it away like this on our own as well.

Shocking VAR decision aside, we had a much bigger hand in throwing that away than the officials did. Not putting the game to bed in the second half, not making changes soon enough, dropping too deep and inviting pressure, Doucouré giving two dangerous free kicks away. The VAR intervention was abysmal, but we need to get better at managing games when the momentum shifts. A stronger bench would help, and above all the manager needs to be more proactive before the damage has been done.

The wall was protecting Pickfords right so Pickford should have stayed more left but for some reason stepped right.

What happened to the high bar for VAR to intervene? It's hard to believe the officials really are that bad which only leaves corruption as the explanation. Literally give that penalty and absolutely no one questions it - not even United fans.

He’s been pulled back he’s went over from maguires touch very dramatic as well and would have probably got to the ball had he not. Again should of been a pen but he’s over sold it

Ref looked at it once at the end then turned away and gave no penalty. Could see the shirt pull clearly.

Watch him do nothing about it and say "I didn't see it clearly" or something like that, then comment on how great it is to have someone like SAF there who he looks up to or something daft
