You are right…my bad.The Screen Sport Super Cup was actually a two legged affair played early in the following season. They won both legs; 3-1 at Anfield and 4-1 at Goodison.

I put our chances of a point at 50%.I think expect is a strong word, but I'd hope we can get a draw and be delighted if we won, but unsurprised if we lose as they have a better team, most if not all of whom were rested at the weekend.
yes i mightNo you’re not
Get everyone banned from Europe then go on and win the cup put in place for the teams who missed out.The Screen Sport Super Cup was actually a two legged affair played early in the following season. They won both legs; 3-1 at Anfield and 4-1 at Goodison.
We can...if we did not have that many injuriesApparently we're so bad we can't play on a Wednesday and then a Saturday like everyone else.
Yes, but you know what that will mean... a red card or two for us... none for them. When was the last time any ref gave us anything borderline against them?First minute: drop kick on Van Dijk and he's carried off.
I'm happy whatever the outcome after that tbh.
What we dont want is a meek, respectful Moyes derby.
Just get into them and smash the slugs all over Goodison.
Give them something to remember the old ground by.
Now THAT is positivity...Why are most people dreading this game? After last season I’m all in on an Everton win. These aren’t great, they’re just slightly better than the rest and their usual competition is nowhere to be seen, making them look like this dominate force. Right into them again last year.
UTFT!!!
very good pointI am more scared of the ref than them.
This will be my first game at Goodison since Big Duncs last game, and my last before the new stadium.
Bit worried about the ticket after getting it from livefootballtickets (not used them before), but if it’s a dud, I will lose money but will get to say farewell to the grand old lady and say hello and take a look at our shiny new beacon down on the banks of the Mersey.
Potentially, this could be the game that’s saves our season and could be the start of them lot losing the premier league. Wouldn’t that be fantastic?
Thing is, losing this fixture last year has led them in to fearing this one and has damaged them already, by fielding their squad rotation players who are not up to snuff.Them losing to plymouth wont help us at all...
I live in hope...
Think Moyes should have mentioned the need for a strong and fair ref in his press conference just to highlight the PL bias towards the r/s.Sadly this is a major problem in this fixture.
I don't think it matters who the ref is though, they are all kin useless biffs who deserve the abuse they get IMO by their incompetence.
