So you just write off the last derby at Goodison on the off chance we might be more fresh against Palace? It's sad how low expectations of this club are.

Why are most people dreading this game? After last season I’m all in on an Everton win. These aren’t great, they’re just slightly better than the rest and their usual competition is nowhere to be seen, making them look like this dominate force. Right into them again last year.

Not sure why our palace game wasn't moved to the Sunday.

Because the Premier League don’t like us (and we don’t care).

A winnable game against palace just a couple of days later...hmm...no squad really to rotate, with beto expected to play the full 90 then again another full 90 2 days later. This game can essentially means we end up losing 6 points and possibly players to injury. Not a great time for this fixture really. Not sure why our palace game wasn't moved to the Sunday.

The very last game under Goodisons lights For that reason more than anything else we need to make it a night to remember (for the right reasons)

I like this
