Poor game, but a good (and important) victory, Naismith played the best i've seen him this season when he came on, and Ossie did well yet again. Regarding their penalty claim, at the match it looked like a stonewaller, but the reports seem to suggest it was debatable.
 
We won ugly Distan was static for the goal we conceded - The only good ball PN sent in we scored a great header by Jags - Osman livened it up when playing centre mid - that won it us as in the first half the Hitzs & gibson partnership was a disaster we were slow in the build up Osman looked lost on the right wing - too many long high balls today - Victor did send in lovely through ball to jelly but he is lacking confidence, but working hard. We won ugly but again 3 points is 3 points
DM subs JH FFS what does he see in him woefull again never did one thing positive or defensively again - Duffy & barkley need games on the plus side Oviedo looked very good!
 
Wigan played the better football today and they attacked well and defended well. id be gutted if i was a Wigan fan. but winning like that is what you need sometimes in the Premier League.

im worried for Sunday afternoon tho.

I Thought we were the better team and we deserved to win.Don`t think it was apen for wigan but ive seen them given for less.wigan didn`t deserve anything from it but could have earned a point at the most. I`d be happy with a point on sunday though.
 
Great result today against a side fighting for points for a diffrent reason

Horrible weather and horrible football 90% of the time, Wigan never really threatend apart from that 10-15m spell in the seconed half

3 top players missing for us atm and seeing as this was going to be our hard run of games we are going really well

Can only remember Wigan having a good 10-15m spell in the second half where Distin nearly scored an OG and Kone could have scored, Apart from that they offered very little
 
Just had a little gawk at RAWK (see what I did there?) and jesus flippin' christ. These people say we are obsessed with them, yet you wanna see them go on and on and on and on about Utd. Not only that, but they actually believe that Pienaar's tackle on Caldwell (that didn't even remotely injure the player and no fuss was made about it whatsoever by anyone) was a "straight red" apparently..

How they can possibly call us "bitter" beggars belief..
