If we can make some astute signings (cb, centre forward and no.10 type player) in Jan and get our defence sorted and hopefully get our key players back and in form, we could have enough to seal 4th. It's gonna be tough though - it might go to the wire. Gotta hope we hit our usual post-xmas form. We always seem to struggle through games at xmas, then hit form in Jan. Lots of ifs and buts - but....

Nice and Necessary are entirely different things. Points are what matter at the end of the day.

agree we need to improve defensively, but the teams who will be going places at the end of the season will be the ones who find a way of grinding out the results even when obviously not firing on all cylinders.
