I didnt think Fellaini was all that bad today, apart from a ten minute period in the first half where everyone seemed to get on his back? he never did much else wrong, they created a lot more when he went off also.

I like Marouane and think he will become a great asset to us.

"I'm happy with the result, but not happy with the performance," Moyes told Sky Sports 1.
"I have to give a lot of credit to West Brom today, they passed it well and made it difficult for us, and we were just a little bit behind it as well.
"I think there was maybe a little bit of tired minds, but I needed to see that myself in the first game without Mikel.
"I know what I've got to try and do to sort it and make it much better."

Judging from that, I've got a feeling Moyesy is going to revert back to a strict 4-5-1. I'm glad to see he's thinking about it. Without Mikel we need to flood the midfield a bit more to get control of the game. We didn't have that at all today with Jo and Cahill up front, West Brom bossed us in the middle. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Cahill's striking holiday is over for a while.

Your absolutely right. I had the same thought. I expect the 4-5-1 for the away game at Rovers no doubt. The FA cup game the same way with Jo cup tied anyway. I hope Saha has a good fitness report for both tussles.

Still not worried by Albion. We all know they can play but that stat about us scoring most headed goals and them conceding the most will tell in the end. (y)

Some quality posts by Pete today but none better than this analysis nugget (post #132) at a point in the game when West Brom was all over us and we had shown nothing prior to Cahill's netting. (y)

Wouldn't surprise me, It would probably help us aswell. Especially if it's going to be Fellaini and Neville in midfield.

I bet you a tenner he scores if selected on weds :P

We need somebody, we cant praise every single player, thats not the Everton way. We used to have managers we could slate, but Moyes is made out of gold. Hes untouchable.

I agree with you Moyes is the main man alright . I laughed when I read the letters page in the Echo . One of which saw some bright spark lamenting about that the goal less draw with Newcastle proved Moyes wasnt a winner because he didnt go for broke  Some people who claim to watch Everton closely week in week out are wasting their time ....give it up

If we beat Boro I am having a royal blue flag made for Wembley which will read " In Moyes we trust " complete with detailed picture of his chiselled granite-like features :D Not original I know but I want him to know we love him :P
