Just got back in. Typical mid-week Carabao cup game against minnows. No real intensity.

Coleman was my motm. 100% heart in a blue shirt. Dwight McNeill boiled my piss. Lazy, sub-par performance. He didn't look like he was fighting for a place in the first team.

We still need another striker. Alcaraz played well. Dibling neat and tidy.

…no real concerns although the 2nd goal was most welcome.

Tarkowski, Alcaraz and Armstrong deserve a mention in despatches but I thought our best player was James Garner who looks on the same wavelength as Grealish. Terrific ball into Armstrong for the 2nd goal.

That pass into Armstrong was sublime. He was very effective this evening. Moved the ball faster when he needed to and at other times he showed patience.

Forgetting Beto, who was a skint club’s (losing) gamble. Whoever thought Barry was up for introduction to the Prem, must have been on ‘shrooms.

We can’t go into the season with either up front. Otherwise we’re going to be a brilliant watch up to the opposition penalty box, then nothing.

We surely can’t have bought Dibling or loaned Grealish to fail ?

Only just realised it was micheal bridges on comms, super player before the injuries

Smashed in a few cracking free kicks and looked to be heading to super stardom, the Achilles one started it off for him and he was never the same. Always felt sorry for him and Dean Ashton.
