Embarrassment.

Martina and Sandro's comedy act towards the end summed it up. Some players can have all the energy and drive in the world but they'll still be poor, poor footballers.

It was good to see a line-up that appeared to have some pace, width and invention but the reality is that we just aren't a 'team'.

Tough one as I thought Pickford was excellent, Williams had his best performance in about a year and Mirallas had a go. I've given it to Davies thoigh who never stopped running, didn't hide from the ball or shirk responsibility and was always looking to drive forward with the ball.

Then there was the 'fan' shouting at Gylfi that he's ****e.

Im not one to shield the players from some spirited feedback but that feller needs a Williams boot up the a**e. It makes you wonder how people help their kids with homework. Im not saying we should be cheering for the poo these players have been serving up but how would you perform at your job if I stood next to you and screamed that?

Football is all about passion but it needs to be the right type of passion. Although saying that I fully condone the handbags on the pitch, shows they have heart and care, but screaming morons and Dads fighting with kids should be kicked out of the game.

Davies and Mirallas led by example yesterday, and their desire and determination to try grab the game rubbed off on a few others who decided to join in.

The highlight for me was Sigurdsson getting abused taking a corner, he'd come on, delivered a superb ball for the goal, delivered another that almost put us infront had it not been for the post.

So he's then subjected to all kinds of abuse while taking the corner, Everton fans that.

Not one punch was throws yesterday by anyone players or fans btw the fella with the kid pushed their keeper that's about it. Pickford an Davies were excellent makes me laugh seeing people say he could of done better for their second goal from 3 yards out after taking a deflection and moaning about Davies giving the ball away lol same people that were the first to turn on Barkley once they'd beat all forward thinking risk taking out of him. Thought Williams had a good game other than the goal aswell but maybe that was just because he didn't make a blatent howler.

Davies, loved his passion, made quite a few mistakes though.
Pickford, love him but getting beaten at your near post is a bit of a no no.

I'll give it Mirallas.

I hate to see anyone get hurt, but with Morgs out I assume there is no way we still play two defensive mids Sunday.

Ahh who I am kidding it will be Gana and Jags.

I saw some green shoots last night. It's typical that when a team is as low on confidence as we are that you don't get any luck. That second free kick from Siggy goes in and the whole dynamic of the game and possibly the season could have changed. Thought the lads gave it a go and for that you have to commend them.

Pickford man of the match for me. Tom Davies full of energy and showed a lot of personality always looking for the ball. Unsurprisingly he tired in the second half. Vlasic could turn out to be a boss player. reminds me of Pienaar with his great first touch and the way he rolls players. Needs to learn better decision making but we don't seem to get many players up to support him I am impressed with the lad. Imagine him on the right with Coleman.

My stream went dodgy at the start of the second half but came good again just in time for the fight and the equaliser. Hopefully Siggurdsen has found his range and we can look forward to that kind of delivery every game.

I'm actually feeling strangely optimistic so watch us get dry bummed on Sunday.
