It always confuses me how Bournemouth are sustainable as a premier league club. We talk a lot about raising our revenue to help us with transfer fees and wages, but even back at Goodison we dwarfed their attendances home and away, must sell more beers, pies, stadium tours etc..., and have more fans around the world so surely sell more merch and attract more sponsorship and yet they keep trucking along doing fine. I guess it shows how well run they are but it's crazy that places like Sheffield and Bristol can't get a team to remain (or even get to) the PL but Bournemouth can.

A very well run club, with a down to earth owner.
Everyone on board buys into the project.
They sign players with a similar profile/mental attitude, whilst accepting the buy to sell approach, they already have replacements inline for those sales.

They bring in coaches to work with the squad, rather than Vice Versa

Keeping to a certain profile/mental attitude will keep you above water when you hit rough times, eg sales, purchases that don't pay off..

The expectations of the fanbase isn't a distraction as they have grown up through the lower leagues.

They make sure they are always a step ahead, as they know what's coming.

The MCO is doing some really innovative stuff amongst its club, in other sports and cross fertilising both.

Got to be bumming these. A draw, under the circumstances (a very realistic shot of Europe) and desperate need to quickly improve home form), would be a diabolical result. A defeat isn't even worth thinking about. Bournemouth are a good side, but we need to start to deliver at home.
