Peak Everton that in terms of the frustration levels. I think we all knew that we needed that second goal.

Odd that fans booed at the end as we’d clearly given it a good go - annoying as the end result and some of the decisions were. I swear down in my first twenty years watching us we were booed off about twice. Now we’re booed off every time we lose.

I think there is a good few of us that realise he is not commanding of his area. It is his weakest quality.

And that's my point about him mate. Top, top keepers command the box. He trys to catch when he should punch, he punches when he should catch. He stays on his line when he should come and he comes when he should stay. When the ball goes near him when there's an opposition player within 10 yards you can see him visibly panicking. Nearly every other keeper in the league is quite calm.

It’s the small attention to details that we continue to struggle with. Never going to get Europe if we aren’t a more sound side and fix the little things. We were the better team overall but a few minutes is all it took to lose.

New owners, new ground but still the same mentality on the pitch. We are weak mentally (every chance we have to put pressure on those around us - we blow it) we’ve had no striker worthy of the name since Lukaku left. We have needed two quality full backs for countless windows, this hasn’t been addressed. We lack pace in the side, we are so easy to play against. Time for the recruitment team to earn their money. We can’t go into next season not having addressed these areas that have haunted us for years in the Summer.

Nah, it’s not the mentality. We just lack the extra bit of quality. N’Diaye hasn’t been at the races since his return. Losing Grealish has also left us toothless on the left.
